When does Rockaway Beach take place?
The 2018 Rockaway Beach Festival takes place from Friday 12th - Monday 15th January 2018. Guests are welcome on resort from 1pm with gold, deluxe and hotel rooms ready to check in to from 3pm and standard and silver accommodation ready from 4pm. Check out is on Monday morning at 10am.
Is accommodation included in my ticket price?
Yes. Rockaway Beach is held in a holiday resort so your ticket includes a pass to the music festival and 3 nights accommodation. Because of the venue licence you cannot purchase tickets without accommodation or buy day tickets, so all tickets will include a festival pass + accommodation for 3 nights. Each ticket also includes access to all the onsite entertainment facilities such as the water park, arcades, etc, as well as extra festival fun such as late night DJs, a silent disco and much more!
When will I receive my tickets?
Once you have bought your Rockaway Beach tickets, you will receive a confirmation email from Butlin's. We do not issue physical tickets but Butlin's will email you confirmation of your booking. Please ensure you keep this email safe.
What times are check in / check out?
The reception area will open from 1pm on Friday 12th January for check-in. Check out is at 10am sharp on Monday 15th January.
What is included in the accommodation?

How do I get to the Rockaway Beach festival?
The Rockaway Beach festival is located on the edge of the South Downs in West Sussex.

Can I park onsite?
Yes, there is parking on the festival site. Wherever you are staying you will be directed to the car park closest to your accommodation upon arrival.
Is there an ATM / cash machine onsite?
Yes, there are 3 ATM machines onsite.
What about under 18s?
The event is strictly over 18s only.
Can I buy day tickets for the festival?
We're sorry but there are no day tickets available for Rockaway Beach.
Can I buy a ticket without accommodation?
As we have to hire the entire Butlin's site including all chalets for the festival weekend, room cost is included in your ticket price and we're unable to sell tickets without accommodation.
What about disabled access / carers?
All resort facilities are fully accessible.
Can you bring your own alcohol onto the site?
Butlin's requests that all festival attendees do not bring excessive quantities of alcohol onto the resort. The quantity that is deemed excessive will be at the discretion of Butlin's. If any attendees ignores this, their alcohol will be removed and returned at the end of the weekend. If any attendees repeatedly ignore this, they may be asked to leave Butlin's.
If Butlin's feel that this request is being ignored then further action might be taken, which could include the searching of vehicles entering the resort. Therefore, they, and we, request that you try not to openly flaunt the policy on excessive amounts.
